Experienced Infertility Doctor – Dr Aindri Sanyal
Mrs Arpita Mukherjee had been trying to conceive naturally but failed. She was looking to consult a trusted IVF Specialist in Burdwan to undergo a thorough fertility check-up. On asking her near and dear ones for recommendations, her best friend suggested consulting a local IVF Doctor in Burdwan.
Arpita’s right ovary had been removed due to a large tumour when she was a 20-year-old girl. At the time of check-up with the local Infertility Specialist the level of Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH), secreted by the cells in follicles or developing egg sacs, was 0.4. Infertility Treatment Procedure
Before recommending IVF, laparoscopy, or any other infertility treatment, Dr Sanyal asked Mrs Mukherjee to undergo Sonosalpingography (SSG), also popular as the Sion test. It is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the patency of fallopian tubes. SSG revealed that the tubes were open.
Dr Aindri Sanyal asked the couple to undergo two cycles of ovulation induction. The plan of treatment was to prescribe oral tablets and gonadotropin injections. They were also asked to come for regular check-ups to monitor the response. Quite luckily, Arpita conceived right after completing the first cycle of their infertility treatment.
As Arpita and her husband were residents of Burdwan, Dr Aindri Sanyal recommended them to consult a local obstetrician. Two weeks back, Arpita delivered a healthy baby boy.
